Patients suffering from asthma, chronic cough lasting more than three weeks, chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), bronchitis, have difficulty breathing, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs), obstructive sleep apnea, coughing up of blood, or emphysema (condition in which the air sacs of the lungs are damaged and enlarged causing breathlessness) should make an appointment to see the pulmonologist right away.
The HIMA Health Outpatient/Specialty Clinic is open every Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Peebles Hospital. The amount charged per consultation is US $250.00. Persons interested in making an appointment can contact the Outpatient/Specialty Clinic at 852-7554.
