Minister of Education and Culture Hon. Myron V. Walwyn holds the strong view that the NDP has govern the BVI quite well in the past six years.
He was speaking as they celebrate their mid term in second term in office tomorrow June 8th.
"Government has done a good job, yes we may have made some mistakes, all governments do, but we have a good report card," he said yesterday in the House of Assembly.
He also spoke to the good things he said he has done in education.
"There is progress in the country and you have some talking about education in the country and how nothing ain't happen in education, what a wicked set of people. The education system in this country has improved three folds."
He added, "I am going to be extremely proud when the graduating ceremony is coming up, I am going to be proud of the ones in particularly at the technical school in Baughers Bay. When we came into office that place was a dumping ground for students who we think we couldn't teach."
"And we be able to turn that school into something that can produce and will produce good citizens that will do marvelous work in the technical field in this country. So significant things are being done here in the territory for the advancement of its people. "
