Earl Delville Hodge known as 'Bob Hodge' and former Customs Officer, Roberto Harrigan known as 'Tico' were taken before the Magistrate’s court at a special hearing yesterday afternoon, February 8 in connection with a new extradition request from the United States government in connection with drug offences.
However, members of the media were not allowed inside the proceedings which took place at the Road Town Police Station.
BVI Hot Press understands that, counsel and a magistrate from overseas were brought in for the hearing.
They were remanded and are expected to have a bail hearing tomorrow Friday, February 10.
In December 2014, the four men won the Judicial Review in relation to the Order to Proceed issued by the Governor for the local court to hear an extradition proceeding for the men to be extradited to the U.S to answer the charges.
