Another BVIslander has officially entered the legal fraternity.
On 8th June 2017, K’Nesha Abeo Greenaway was called to the Bar in the Virgin Islands. The ceremony marked the end of a journey which started in September 2011, when she started studies at the University of Manchester to pursue a Bachelor’s of Law degree.
She graduated from the University of Manchester in 2014, and started to study for the Bar at BPP University in Manchester. Ms. Greenaway, a member of Inner Temple, was called to the Bar in the UK and Wales on 28th July 2016.
Attorney at law, Mrs. Lisa Penn Lettsome from WALKERS made the application for Ms. Greenaway to be called to the Bar, and Ms. Astra Penn from Dancia Penn and Co. endorsed her called to the Bar.
Mrs. Lettsome and Ms. Penn stated Ms. Greenaway was fit and proper to be admitted to the Bar.
Friends and family attended the ceremony.
